Check in time is 3pm and check out is 10am on day of departure please – this ensures we have time to thoroughly clean the cottage to our high standards. Cleave Cottage is set among eight dwellings on the farm – we live in Middle Cottage next door. We are secluded and tucked away in a wonderful location, yet not too far from many exciting places that Cornwall has to explore. Many people return again and again to holiday at Cleave Farm – this is proof of the charm that this place offers!
Three minutes’ walk across the garden and around the hedge in the cliff field will take you to the coastal footpath and the remarkable rugged Cornish cliffs. The cottage is next to woodland, which belongs to Cleave Farm. Springtime is wonderful, as the wildflowers take over and carpet the lane verges and ground between ancient twisty oaks and wise old trees of the woodland. A five-minute walk takes you to the end of the field and to the cliff edge for breath taking sunsets or walk out to Castle Point along the coast path.
Please be respectful of other people who live or are on holiday at Cleave Farm by being mindful of noise levels – Cleave Farm is more of a tranquil and relaxing space than a place to be loud and rowdy – we appreciate your understanding and being mindful of this.
Katy and family look forward to welcoming you and are here to offer you local advice and any support should you need it, but will respect your privacy.
